I should start out by saying I didn't see a show here. I have seen many recorded concerts of major acts from this venue. I was in the Denver area and had to see it. To get to the theater from parking areas requires ascending...More
the great outdoors with fascinating music and geological history. the hiking paths are well defined and the rock formations are mesmerizing. Also....rabbits, hummingbirds, deer, snakes, California bluebirds, geckos....just beautiful
History of the music scene at the open air natural amphiheatre is impressive.
The view from this place is so stunning and breathtaking. You can see people working out and listening attentively to a musical event. I have never seen a place as beautiful as this. As you trail the area, take it slowly and enjoy every corner...More

Hi, yes, you can still go and hike during the morning/early afternoon during concert days. I don't specifically when they close the stage area, but you can always check their website for more information. Also, I would check their website for yoga on the rocks and when they play movies if that interests you. Hope this helps!

We got there at 7:30, lucked out on the parking but still a hike to the buses which can be a long wait and then a hike to your seats, particularly general admission. We sat near the top and it was incredible. However, anyone having trouble walking or climbing should inquire about special access. Going down was easy. And we didn't get in a traffic jam going out either. But claim your seats as soon as possible.
