A lovely drive viewing some of the houses and viewing points. You have to pay $10 if you are doing the drive and I’m not sure if you need to pay to do just the the inn at Spanish Bay which is a lovely place...More

Very nice ride. Go through forest, then ocean views, beach, golf course, very nice houses, commercial area (lodge, restaurants, shops), forest and nice houses again. The views are very nice.

Cost is $10.50. Well worth it for the spectacular coastal views & photo opportunities. Plenty of places to stop & get out of your car to take pictures & to soak in the scenery. Plenty of birds & seals in the ocean beauty.

Pacific Ocean views along with varying architecture of the stately and less than stately homes in the area. The $10.50 charge was redeemable, so we used it at the Pebble Beach Golf Resort. Great lunch, superior service, and gorgeous view of the bay and the...More

A waste of 10 dollars. You get to drive past very expensive houses and park in car parks surrounded by lots of signs telling you what not to do. A fantastic show of wealth if that is what you want but the rest of the...More

On our last day in Monterey, my wife and I decided to see what the 17-Mile Drive had to offer; and we were not disappointed. The drive along the coast was particularly breath-taking! The tide was coming in, and some of the waves were enormous,...More

The scenery throughout was beautiful. There was a wealth of wildlife along the way. The stopping points were educational and plentiful. For 10 dollars I felt it was a great way to appreciate the stunning scenery.

17 Mile Drive is mesmerizing! The beautiful views of the ocean on one side contrasted by the greenery on the other side of the road is breathtaking. Each stop along the way provides sights that seem too beautiful to be real. Plan to spend hours...More

Enjoyed this drive at sunset with my hubby, who’s a keen golfer. What a treat. Worth doing at any time of day - but sunset was beautiful from Seal Point. Lots of interesting stops.
