First time to hike this trail. Lots of rocks...boots or good hiking shoes are a must. Gets narrow at the top. This trail didn't lead to the best view in Sedona. The trail mostly follows a dry creek bed. The hardest part is knowing you...More

This trailhead is relatively small and has limited vehicle parking. There is NO street parking outside the parking lot. It is a popular hike, and the parking lot fills up quickly. Enchantment Resort guests have walking access from the resort. The trailhead does require a...More

After you are past the resort that borders the trail to the east, the walk is through canyon forest. A moderate hike except a rock scramble at trails end. A good spot for a snack before returning to the Trail Head. Not many vistas since...More

Overall good hike! We hiked the three miles in and back in around 3 hours. The hike starts out in the sun but then as you get deeper you get a lot of shade. There were not a lot of people on the trail so...More

My husband and I hiked Boynton Canyon - 6 miles round trip from parking lot, approximately 2.5-3 hours depending on how long you stay at the top. The hike does take you behind Enchantment Resort and some beautiful homes but that didn’t bother us as...More

This was our first hike while visiting Sedona and it was my favorte. Being new to the area and hiking the trails, we missed the turn for the trail that takes you to the vortex. We were fine with it as we continued along the...More

As others have stated, it’s worth the push to reach the top. Amazing views. Plenty of shade along the way. Bring water and good shoes. A little rock climbing at the top, but nothing most people can’t handle. Our family is a combination of semi...More

If you go there during a national holiday, there is no fee to park. The same is true for any national park. However, the airport mesa parking fee will still be $3.00 no matter what day you go.
