This hike is best done with a guide so you can learn about the unique qualities of the forest and its ecosystem.

Great hike with nature trails, big bridge and some animals. We walked the entire park which takes around 3-4h depending on your conditions and breaks you make. We really enjoyed, a lot of nice spots and easily to walk. Even it was foggy, we did...More

Much of a large Forrest is in its most mature stage. We were able to sight the Resplendent Quetzal, a lifetime of my wife and I. Trails are well maintained

Walking in the cloud forest is a delight. The variety of plants and animals is amazing, and the lush unspoiled beauty is a balm for the soul.

Great views and worth the hike up. Did this early morning which was perfect weather because it gets quite steep in places, prepare to get a good sweat on. Be patient from the Continental Divide viewpoint for the clouds to clear and get a breathtaking...More

This park is absolutely wonderful! And I highly recommend getting a guide to go through part of the park. There were so many things we would have missed had we not had a guide to show us. There’s nothing like walking through the clouds on...More

Never seen such amazing rainforest in my life. You are overwhelmed with shades of green. Saw a tarantula, 5 monkeys and interesting centipedes. Loved the walk. Not for those that have a fear of heights!!!

We drove to the entrance to the reserve only to be turned back to the parking that we had failed to notice on our way (free). We took ourself around the reserve on their well marked trails. We saw little wildlife but this didn't detract...More

What a truly stunning experience. Lovely well marked trails. Visited in the off-season and got caught in a massive rainfall but it made the reserve seem even more magical. Didn’t see much wildlife due to the rain but still well worth the time and effort...More

No, you don't need a guide unless you're looking for birds or something really specific! The trails are really well marked, so it's very easy to get around.
