Great boat trip. Willis did a great job of finding: Iguana, different birds, howler monkeys, caiman, JC Lizard, etc. Great tour even in the rain.

It’s awesome. We saw caimans, monkeys, sloths, iguanas, turtles. Not for families with young children but teenagers would love it.

Lovely place, but considering the absolute mission it is to get here - I would only come when the turtles are about - otherwise its no different (besides the addition of some canal tours) to any of the other amazing national parks around Costa Rica!

We walked around the natural park of Tortuguero during the day. The best hours to visit would be early in the day (06:00-08:00) or towards the of sunlight. We saw monkeys, an ants eater and several types of lizards and birds. The park gets more...More

You cannot walk from Parismina to Tortuguero, but you can get there by boat. There are boat taxis available and would not be too expensive.
