This was a lot of fun for a family, but we went during the morning, and it was crazy crowded, so there were some extremely long waits to get onto each bridge. We were told if we had gone in the afternoon, we would have...More

My friend and I did a tour from La Fortuna to the hanging bridge. The park is beautiful and well maintained. Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We spotted many animals we wouldn't have if we didn't have a guide.

We absolutely loved the hanging bridges park, but I will say that we probably wouldn’t have seen any wildlife had we not gone in with a guide. With the guide we saw several monkeys, different types of frogs, bats, a sloth and some cool birds....More

It was a fun walk through the rain forest but we only saw a few birds and really tiny frogs. We did not take a tour and we are so glad we saved the money. Just take a cab and pay the entrance fee

We had a great time but would not have seen any of the animals without the guide because they know where to look. Despite a few areas of landscaped paths with odd Disney-inspired, mushroom-shaped tables and stools, this is a natural setting, not a zoo...More

I booked in advance through the hotel. I would recommend that at least a day ahead so you are sure to get a good guide.
