We drove down into the Qadisha Valley from Bcharre, on the steep, single track road with many hairpin bends and vertiginous drops alongside. Not for the faint hearted! As we descended, mist came in, and the valley looked like the Swiss Alps. We parked a...More

Very beautiful deep sided valley with many historical / religious sites within it. Good place for some hiking. It is possible to stay at some of the monasteries which gives a twist to accommodation options. The only drawback is that with so much development around...More

Being from a village situated on the Kadisha Valley, my review is totally biased. During the four seasons, you can enjoy a splendid view of nature, and the opportunity to visit plenty of historical and religious sites widespread over the valley. To access the valley...More

Part of a World Heritage Site, the area is associated with the early Christian church, in particular its growth plus the homes of saints and hermits. I was not as struck by the natural beauty. The best sights were some of the difficult settings of...More

I would not rate it as number 1 attraction in Lebanon, but I'd say it is worth to go there if you have the time! 2h from Beirut by public transportation. And you will enjoy majestic views, maybe even some snow on the peaks!
