The area is beautiful. Unfortunately we were unable to go further than the port. They have tons of taxi drivers at this port. Unlike Mexico though these drivers all want the same amount of money. It was very unreasonable rate too. $120 dollars for 6...More

Just steps from our cruise ship, had fresh coconut water cut open right before our eyes, boght souvenir t-shirts, got to join the locals to make some beautiful music and saw jewelry and hand paintings of every size and style

Just on the pier,you can have a drink, lunch or just to buy some souvenirs .There is a zip line and some water activities.

Local shops were nice but really expensive. Nice safe port. Caught a taxi to a resort that was "close." Took 45 minutes to get there. LOL

Go outside the compound and the price of just about everything drops 50%. It is a little scary outside of the gate and the cruise line warns you about that.

chair lift is right at the port, it does cost to ride it or you can just walk 5 minutes to the same beach

This area has limited accommodations. Its a destination for cruise passenger traffic that are in port just for the day. I would suggest perhaps looking into Virgin Gorda or one of the other US Virgin Islands and try a trip... More
