I visited Barton Springs with very close friends who live in Austin. I was surprised to see such a cool place in the middle of a hot sandy place as Texas. For sure I' ll try to go again.

Enjoyed the walk around the waterway where families, dogs, and joggers shared the trail. The trail is well kept and we felt safe during our walk.

It was nice when we got in, but the line was very long and we were overheated by the time we got into the pool.

Difficult to figure out how to get there. Parking lot not well marked. When we found it, it was very neat. Unique and busy but not crowded.

Kids loved it. Water is super cold. Keep in mind Austin allows nude sunbathing. No showers but all in all a good place to add to your trip.

It’s only 9 or 10 dollars for non residents of Austin. In my opinion, it’s well worth the price!
