Wonderful very large ruin to visit. Our tour guide was wonderful explaining the history of Chan Chan before the Incas. Our guide only speak Spanish but my daughter and her Peruvian husband translate to us. Its not to far outside of Trujillo.

I highly recommend this tour, in Spanish or English. The guide was so helpful and friendly, and provided soooo much great and interesting information. He even helped me plan my excursions in Huaraz and Chachapoyas. Don't miss it!

A really fascinating site of a civilization gone and before the Incas. This is an extensive excavation and you will want to walk around and take a lot of photos.

Really easy to get to on public transport, or even walking distance from the main old town plaza. Fantastic site. Much bigger than I anticipated. A brilliant place.
