Puno Cathedral has some really nice stonework detail on the exterior, worth a visit. The interior is not as lavish as many cathedrals, even other cathedrals we saw in Peru, but it's pretty. The cathedral is in the Plaza de Armas. Unfortunately we were there...More

This was right across from our hotel so we passed by many times. Beautiful to look at. We did not go in but it looked like they had regular church services.

The exterior of the cathedral is beautifully created. From every side there is stunning construction features. The interior is one of the most simple visions I've seen in South America so far. We were inside for a service, the doors are usually closed.
