This is a nicely restored, small souk. It's a great place for buying traditional clothing, more bedouin influenced jewlery and souvenirs. There are also numerous antique shops. The place is air-conditioned and the vendors are much less agressive. Just a 25 minute Uber from the...More

A piece of Sharjah's heritage, the space has been heavily restored but retains some charm. The shops in the main entrance area seem to be open most of the time but those in the alleyways are much less predictable.

This is quite big souk - but I'm not recommending it during Eid as there are not much open stands at that time. Besides is a nice place.

It is a covered souq but not air-conditioned. The heritage authorities have renovated the Arsa Souq in the now Heritage precincts of Sharjah just next door to Naboodah Home converted to the Sharjah Heritage Museum. This is not a big souq but is historically very...More

Sure, the UAE has it's share of shopping malls with all the corporate-owned stores. When you're there, you could imagine being in your home country. Visit a Souk to shop locally. My most vivid memory is of course the gold shops!

A nice small market in the form of shops in a small street. The setup puts you back in history. A lot of collectibles too.
