The wine cellars are special and worth to visit but the wine we got on our "cheap" tour were the least expensive and rather bad

The winery is not well placed, and the domaine is not large, but the very interesting point is it's cave, with its historical story.

If you "know your wine" the professional wine tasting option is clearly worth the small extra cost but if (like me) you're more of a "I like it, I'll drink it" type like me then either stick with the professional version (to look like you...More

It was interesting getting to know Lebanese wine and the history of the place. Though a bit more details during the tour could have made the experience more enjoyable. We had a great time with Reine who animated our "professional tasting"

Ksara is just a cave where barrels of wine are stored to mature. THe basic tasting has dissappointing wines and that is a understatement. At least the tour in the cave is free.

The tour of the Chateau Ksara caves is free of charge and well worth it (about 15 minutes long, available in different languages). This is the best vineyard tour to take in Lebanon.

The fees range from basic to a premium. We took the premium and were totally impressed with the quality and depth of their wines. Our hostess was articulate and knowledgeable. it is a great stop on the way back from Baalbek.
