It is so beautiful inside and they have a lot of text in every room about the history or architecture. They have guides (20 soles for the two of us) - nice to have an already agreed price. We didn’t use one though because you could read the signs and get the facts from there.

I love this place, it's stunning. It really helps to get a guide for 20 soles to show you around and explain what everything is about. Be sure to have some extra time to wander around after you finish your guided tour.

This is the place where rich daughters went (many years ago) to become nuns but took all of their servants with them. Not overly exciting

It is my favourite museum in Arequipa. It's really beautiful with some interesting history behind it. Get a guided tour as it is well worth hearing the history behind it rather than just walking through it on your own

The place is like a small town inside another town. Very informative we had a tour guide take us thru.
