Maybe is better conservated than Karak o Shobek. The castle is very enjoyable but is not easy to Get if you are an independient traveller and you are transporting in public transport

If you are in Jordan you must visit this place. It gives you a panoramic view of the country. The ruins of the fort will give you goosebumps for sure

Aljoun Castle is well worth a visit, perhaps taken in with a visit to Roman Jerash. Well preserved Islamic castle with a very interesting history. Its location alone is very impressive.

Very well preserved and worth a trip, it’s a little bit of a drive outside of Amman but worth it and the view is incredible from the castle ruins

Rustic but well kept for what they have found. Worth a one hour visit. Plenty of steps and they can be slippery. Good visit.
