We were so impressed with an outstanding scale model of the City of David at the time of King Solomon. It is a MUST see to more fully understand the early Jerusalem in relationships to the Temple Mount. Awesome!!!

This is an amazing facility that houses priceless collections. I concentrated on the archeological building due to lack of time, but a week could easily be spent there admiring the treasures.

We went early in our four weeks in Israel, and it was a great experience, but I think I would have valued it even more at the end of our time. There were so many significant archaeological artifacts directly connected to many of the sites...More

There are special exhibitions and activity places designed for children. It changes from time to time, so you should look at the museum site for what is now available for children (of all ages).
