Reliving the memory of Jesus Christ on the day of his crucification in old Jerusalem where it actually took place two thousand years back.Small or large no. Of persons move from station to station where Jesus walked/fell before being nailed to the cross.

Very, very crowded with religious pilgrims many of who became rather unchristian in efforts to push to the head of the line. Suggest you go early in the day to minimise the wait times. We gave up mid walk as you could see little other...More

A must-do when in Jerusalem. Located in the Old City, it's a walk through the path taken by Jesus before His crucifixion. Path is uneven, narrow & involves short ascending & descending steps. It has, however, become too commercialized & noisy with too many souvenir...More

Be sure to take the time to walk the Via Dolorosa. If you go with a guide, no worries, they will point everything out and tell you what happened at each station. If you go by yourself, be sure to print out a guide to...More

I recommend you have a guide or some literature to point out what is where and what the back story of each station is, even if you have learned this in church.

Walking the Via Dolorosa - if you know your stations of the cross - was most interesting but very crowded. Probably best if you do this early in the day as it gets busier as the shops open and more tourists pour in to the...More

Moving to think where you are and standing. Expect huge crowds on pilgrimage. Very difficult to see all the stations but wait it out — you’re only here this time.

Following the Via Dolorosa from the first station through the 14th station, you will walk the path that Christ walked. This is literally an upward walk through narrow alleys and many steps on stone pathways. If you feel hot, tired or uncomfortable, it surely will...More

As far as I know this probably is not the way Jesus walked with the cross ! But the tourists don't care : they take selfies and buy souvenirs...
