We've select this beach once that has parking spto, picnic spot and is beautiful. The water as hot and the waves were small, but enough to play.

Just off Koki Beach are two pretty amazing sites to see! First off, the famous Huli-Huli Chicken outdoor food stop is here, and second, you’ll see the rumored home of the Demi-God, Maui himself, just off the shoreline. It’s hard to miss since it has...More

This is not a beach for people who are not strong swimmers. The waves hit you fast and strong. It most definitely is a workout! The red sand cliff is quite spectacular. One can see the bird sanctuary island and have frigate birds fly overhead...More

Locals advised us to come to Koki Beach to see the red earth rather than the traditional Red Sand Beach, as the recent rains in April, made the path to the Red Sand Beach dangerous. You can easily reach Koki Beach by car, turning off...More

To be honest, the beaches on the Hana side of Maui aren’t to be compared favourably with the ones around Lahaina and further north west. That said Koki Beach has some nice views and is a whole lot better than the one at Hana Town....More

IMO, the beaches of Hana aren’t Maui’s best. Why? First off, most are choppy and rough due to their north-facing shores. Sun is at a premium as the area can be covered with clouds or the sun hidden behind Haleakala, so morning times are best...More

We stopped at Huli Huli Chicken (please read my review and stay away from it) and it’s located at this beach. We are our horrible chicken on a picnic table at this beach. The beach is nice, small, rocky area.

Nice alternative to the red sand beach at Kaihalulu if you're not up for the hassle of trying to find it and then hiking down. It's not as red, but enough to get an idea, still pretty and much easier to access.
