A cozy spot with warm waters and a lovely view. Great for beginning surfers of all ages. Popular, so parking can be a pain. Walk-in, if you can.

My family popped in here for quick visit to watch some surfers. Definitely not swimming beach specially for kids. But easy access and very pretty beach. Locals definitely outnumbered tourists when we were there.

This beach is at mile marker 50, tucked away. (It's 50 miles in from the last city coming from Maui, so it's a journey) Very pretty and definitely a great spot. The waves were pretty good, use caution for the currents tho and be a...More

Turn off just after mile marker 49 on your way out of Hana to enjoy this beach, a favorite with locals. Waves can be big here, so swimming is not ideal. People park along the shoulder of the road to reach the beach. Bring shade...More

When you find this public beach on the Hana Highway, spend time here and you will understand the meaning of ‘idyllic.’ It’s so beautiful and there were a couple of parking spots available when we arrived at 11am. I think the street parking limits the...More

My family and I have been coming here every other year for the last 10 years. The water, beach layout and the fact that there is not a million people there makes this a great place. The town of Hana and Hamoa Beach should be...More

This beach is a hidden gem on the road to Hana. I was intimidated at first with the wave height but we had a blast just floating. We body surfed a few waves and I got totally rolled!! Not a east coast beach my any...More
