We visited the park very early in the morning. Because it was cloudy and foggy the day before, we decided to buy the day ticket and entered at 6am, which is early enough to listen to waking up animals. Most of the time we were...More

I am not aware of any bus service and even if there is it will not very frequent as the destination is remote and most visitors arrive by tour bus - or like us by hired private car. hope this helps.

I did not go there from Belize. I did not see anything for me to think there are any safety concerns in that area. I highly recommend the visit. It appeared safe Nd was filled with tourists. So you will be fine.
