The free tour was good, the initial film needs updating. Impressive building obviously, albeit not as interesting architecturally as the English Houses of Parliament. It’s certainly a must do

We had a great visit to the Congress on a Saturday in October. The visit started with an informative and well made film about the history of Congress. We were then guided around in the building. The rotunda and the National Statuary Hall was awesome....More

I was fortunate to have a capital dome tour last Friday. Great clear day provided an unprecedented view of DC. A capital dome tour is rare. Must include your congressman, if in session, or their chief of staff, when not in session.

So cool to see in person. The grounds are maintained so well and it was neat to learn a little about the history!

Thought the tour was fun. Seeing the inside to the rotunda is amazing. The guide we had was very knowledgeable about all the statues and paintings while on the tour. He tried to personalize the tour to the states represented while on the tour. The...More

The 90 minute tours are the response to the crush of tourists that descend on the nations capitol. I have visited the US Capitol at various times, beginning in the 1960s. The visitors ability to see and experience has decreased due to the aforementioned tourist...More

Not really. It’s a log way away and sadly, the US Capitol building is in what I would describe as ‘less’ than the best neighborhood in Washington D.C. I strongly recommend Uber and Lyft for Washington sight seeing as the... More
