The works by Women Artists from Africa was simply amazing - this museum does not get a lot of attention but always has a world class display

This museum is interesting, but I wouldn’t say it is worth the visit, compared to the other museums in DC. The museum is always empty, the staff can be hit or miss and the art isn’t all that great. Sure, some of the special exhibits...More

This exhibit contains some wonderful exhibits. We spent around two hours going through the different rooms. I would also recommend that everyone glances through at the children’s room because some of the things such as different types of dolls & outfits were really neat.

I came here during Easter weekend with a friend from out of town and stumbled upon their new ironsmithing exhibit, which I later saw featured on NPR. There's also an exhibit on gold jewelry which was gorgeous. It wasn't crowded and I felt like I...More

The museum is on the National Mall. There are many hotels in Northwest DC that aren't terribly far from the Mall. I suggest you search for hotels on this site and locate them on the map in relation to the National Mall. You... More
