After seeing this building a million times on tv and it movies it was so cool to be there in person. It's a beautiful building and was just neat to see it.

My son and I have always wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial, and was blessed to have the chance this past September. It was incredible, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area. A definite must-see!

I don't really want to write a review, TripAdvisor makes you write a review. It was beautiful, go see it. It's a monument, it's amazing!

The best time to visit is in the evening after the sun has gone down and it's lit in warm lights that reflect onto the pond.

Unfortunately our visit was hindered by some that couldn't read the Please be Quiet signs. My previous visits were usually in the day light but opted for a night time lighted visit this time. It is still a beautiful Memorial and worth seeing it in...More

Very good crowds here, but plenty of room. Nicely done Memorial. History at its finest. Free, stay as long as you want. Nice walk up to it by the reflection pool.

The last time I saw good ‘ole Abe Lincoln, I was in elementary school in the mid-80’s, living in Philadelphia, Pa, when we took a school field trip to Washington DC. The area is still breathtaking and beautiful. If you’re in DC, take in this...More

It is. But D.C. is worth spending more time in. If you also want to visit some of the museums, you should plan for some days. Enjoy your stay. It is a nice city. :)
