Such a a lovely town to visit. It has an inviting feel, cute shops, and great places to eat. Soak in the crayon colour of the buildings, and smell the salt of the ocean. Just a lovely place to be.

Among the list of Unesco World Heritage sites in Canada, only two have earned the designation of "Historic Districts": -- the "Historic District of Old Quebec" and "Old Town Lunenburg". Lunenburg's well-preserved historic district is a pleasure to the eye and fun to wander, with...More

An adorable little town filled with shops which attract the hordes of tourists. The big attraction is of course the Bluenose II and deservedly so. Even on a weekday afternoon in late September, the tourists are everywhere. Maybe a visit before the tour busses arrive...More

We prefer less than large cities when we travel to get more authentic experiences and this delivered. We walked and walked for two days all over the town, up and down the hills and loved it!

Lunenburg is a great place but closes up early in the evening and especially in the fall. It is best to plan an early day trip to this area at that time of year. Sunday may also not be your best day. As things may open... More

Yes there are, but Lunenburg's not that big - just walk round the central area yourself and enjoy.
