The Observation Deck (Au Sommet) on the 46th floor at Place Ville Marie is not worth the cost of admission. The building is now surrounded by other high rise, partly obstructing views of the surrounding downtown area. When I visited, the adult admission was $19...More

We definitely do not recommend the observation deck at Au Sommet Place Ville Marie. There are better, less obstructed views of the city from the Chalet on Mount Royal and parking at Beaver Lake (Lac aux castors) – a ten-minute walk from the Chalet –...More

Newly opened Spectacular 360 views. A bit pricey at $20 per admission. Large historic black and white photos Nostalgic 'Trudeau Mania' period. Well worth the visit. Patios for outdoor dining look very inviting Didn't try the restaurant this visit. Beautiful music in background Sounds of...More

This this is the gateway to the underground if you are coming from the train station or some of the flagship hotels in downtown. It contains a variety of shops and a few eateries which we have explored many times. Everything is well attended to,...More

Shopping is the same as in Toronto. However, the pasty and bakery in the basement near the underground was great!

Montreal, famous for its cuisine, deserves better than this. The global food chains that offer their standard schlock dominate. So sad to see in Montreal's oldest aand signature skyscraper. I don't think cities should allow these malls, often run by global corporations, to insist on...More

Montreal's first skyscraper and the first part of the 'underground city' network. The building's cruciform shape is supposed to represent the large cross on Mount Royal (and Montreal's catholic roots). Although built in the 60's it's still a striking building and it's contains Montreal's first...More

It's the place to go & visit downtown Montreal. The place is clean. The underground city is right below it. You'll reach all parts of downtown from there, but you need a map not to get lost. So convenient to go around.
