It's a lovely neighborhood. Very easy to reach by subway. Many restaurants and local shops. Non industrial food. Also you can walk and admire its architecture.

We reached Mile End by the Metro. It was nice to see a neighborhood of Montreal since we were staying in old Montreal. Our main interest was to go to Schwartz and the bagel stores.

We enjoyed our time in the mile end. Albeit, it was a bit of trek from downtown, but it was worth it. Be sure not to miss out on touring through the cultural streets and tasting all the delicious food!

Lots of shops selling Jewish products. Most famous are the bagel shops here.Near the main drag and McGill U. Restaurants are abundant with decent prices.Safe and quiet residential area. Not easy to park your car though.Lively night scenes due to many famous restaurants here.
