A lot of thought has been put into making this area pleasant to visit. We stopped for a drink and snack in one of the many places available. It was easily accessible for my wheelchair and a lovely way to spend time in the sunshine.

No visit to Halifax is complete without a walk on the boardwalk. In the summer tourist season, there is lots to do and see and eat and drink, but even in the off-season it's a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.

We were in Halifax on a lovely sunny day, so it was a real pleasure to walk along the Boardwalk - there's plenty to do and see, with lovely views.

We spent several hours walking the boardwalk and visiting the shops and seeing the sights. The weather was perfect and the farmer's market was a great place to eat and shop for souvenirs.

Halifax waterfront is a 1 mile boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants. Plenty of stops to relax on andirondac chairs and hammocks to enjoy water views. Good place for kids. Similar to Baltimore Harborfront, Maryland.

Such a lovely place for a relaxing stroll. We were there on a cruise ship, ate at the bicycle Thief restaurant, and enjoyed the stroll.
