A great place for a convention, I'm sure, but I expected there to be more to do inside. Excellent views of everywhere from there. The sails light up at night.

Guess what? This place is a great location to local hotels and places to eat. We came for a conference and were delighted that it’s only a short walk from many local hotels. A relatively modern look to the conference centre, big enough to take...More

Attended an event with 8000 participants and the venue was great - clean rooms and bathrooms (no small feat for this number of people), wide variety of hot lunches and break choices, well-organised coffee breaks. Centrally located, views breathtaking. If I was organising an event...More

The 2010 Olympics brought many changes to Vancouver; the 2009 Jack Poole Plaza and the Convention Center are evidence of that. The ten beautiful white sails that adorn the convention center represent the ten provinces in Canada. The East wing houses the 3 totems (1900...More

It depends on your hotel in Richmond. I usually budget about $40.00 taxi fare from downtown Vancouver to the airport. The skytrain is much cheaper and probably faster depending on traffic.
