About
There’s no comparing the emerald green waters of Minnewanka with any urban landscape. Mountain ridges stretch as far as the eye can see, eventually blurring into a blissful cascade of colours.

Beautiful and breathtaking. The water is so clear and blue. Short trip from Banff. Just beauty and it’s wonder. You must make sure this is on the list see.

Well said Evelynn R, I couldn't agree more. Hope you can come visit us at Lake Minnewanka again sometime in the near future. Regards, Travis Mann Lake Minnewanka Cruise

We rode bikes from Banff to Lake Minnewanka. Unless you are an avid cyclist, I do NOT recommend that means of transportation to the Lake. The Lake itself is beautiful but if the bus has stopped, save it for next time!

Hi Tammy S, thanks for this review and for visiting. The road is pretty narrow and I would agree with your recommendation! ROAM Transit from Canmore or Banff is the best way for most. All the best, Travis Mann Lake Minnewanka Cruise

Another absolutely stunning lake with beautiful scenery. Huge car park areas so clearly gets very busy in summer, but with the boats packed away for winter it made parking and getting around easy. You have to do the trek to Stewart’s Canyon to get some...More

We stopped here as part of a tour. It was just a brief stop so we didn't do any boating. It was also a very cold day so we took some pictures and enjoyed the scenery for a bit. The water is as beautiful as...More

The lake is just outside of Banff. There’s a nice scenic drive to the lake from the town. There was also a boat trip on the lake aswell, although we didn’t do that. There’s parking site near the dam. Definitely worth a visit when in...More

This lake has nice views without the massive crowds of the other tourist lakes. I recommend that you drive the loop past Two Jack lake. It’s very scenic without the traffic. It is also nice and close to Banff
