Been hear many times, other beaches on island have gotten bad, but Norte looks cleaner every year. Sure you have to rent chairs and umbrellas but well worth is, water always calm.

I have traveled a lot, and this is my favorite beach. It is crystal clear and calm. You can feed the fish and don't even need snorkeling equipment.

Easy to go from Cancun to the island by ferry, also the beach is not far from the port of the island for the ferry. The sand of the beach is very light and clean. I fall in love to super beautiful Carribean blue sea...More

Awesome beach. Crowds are too much sometimes. Gorgeous sunsets. Hotels claim their piece of beachfront so you have to get there early or late.

We spent our off day (non-diving or snorkeling) to visit the north end of the island on a golf cart. Playa Norte was easy to find and provided beautiful views of the Caribbean

Although it’s out the season, the place is currently has many daily visitors, the sellers are very pushing. Food is poor and we recommend to skip; go to the south part!

The catamaran trip would restrict your time enjoying all that Isla has to offer. I would take an early ferry, have breakfast and get a golf cart. You can rent a cart for the day from 800 to 1000 pesos. Make a list of every... More

We stayed at Paradise Suites. I believe that’s the best possible choice. It is awesome place just few meters away from the beach. Beautiful and practical facility, lovely staff. Highly recommended!
