You can’t go all this way and not visit Chechen Itza the history of the place is amazing. We went on a guided tour and definitely worth the time and effort. If you get the chance to go then go you won’t be disappointed.

Hi it took us 2 - 2,5 hours by private minibus from the hotel region in Plays del Carmen to the site and that was with a 5.45 am start. At the sit itself there are toilets and drinks etc at the entrance to the site... More
