We did this place as part of a tour, so we didn’t spend nearly enough time here. In spite of that, enjoyed the breathtaking views. Will definitely try to stay a couple more hours next time we’re there.

We didn't take a cab, we took the bus from behind the baseball stadium at the corner near the McDonald's. It is green and is clearly marked on top as "Hierve el Agua." It was very inexpensive. It took us to the town of Mitla, where disembarked and waited to catch a white pick up truck. You may have to wait up until a half hour as they try to fill up to 12 passengers, but it is comfortable, believe it or not! It is also inexpensive.
