Be wary - No handrails, lengthy stairs. The elevator was not working. Interesting mural by Rivera. A bookstore clerk was very helpful in pulling out books on textiles. Having worked in independent American bookstores, I was astounded at how many employees there were.

A must see! Check the schedule for performances so you can also experience the theater. Before going, look into the history of the building...fascinating! Also the murals are some of the best in North America.

Nice stop close to the Zocalo, with impressive murals. See it from across the street at night at the cafe on top of Sears for the best views!

Regularly the building is open for visitors from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. But if you purchase a particular concert you can get in at the time scheduled. Hope it be useful.
