Although the house is interesting it might be better to see Frida’s art in a different collection if you want to beat the crowds. It was basically a long queue weaving through rooms

This is a bohemianexperience of a remarkable woman who was politically active and a creative artist despite serious disability. Her unfaithful husband just seemed to add colour and complexity to her life. Take the audio tour to get a full appreciation. An hour and a...More

As others have said, buy your tickets online before going to the museum to avoid a long wait. Inside, the museum is more a preserved house or shrine to Frida and Diego. Too few paintings by either to be called a gallery, there are nonetheless...More

Great to see Frida Kahlo’s house. However I had hoped to see some of her paintings. I should have realised they’re around the world.

Museum is a must visit! Frida's story is sad and inspiring at the same time! No long queues after 3pm on a Tuesday. Tour is in both Spanish and english.

Stunning old home where the amazing Frida Khalo grew up. You will find her bed that she died in there along with so many of her personal items. There’s a beautiful garden in which you can explore and have coffee or ice cream. You can...More

Casa Azul only accepts American Express for advanced, timed entry. Without it, it's an enormous effort with questionable return. We waited an eternity (2 hours, 10 minutes) to get in, only to find that much of the art is reproductions with her most famous pieces...More
