This theatre is such a wonderful landmark, Inside and out. In the evening, the theatre facade is lite with a green color illuminating the entire area. So beautiful. Interior is neo baroque-ish brilliance. A must see!

We went to see a Gala Mariachi and bought lower priced tickets, in the 3rd balcony. Our seats were not good and it was difficult to see much of the stage. It is a pretty building, not as elaborate as Belles Artes in DF or...More

A must see. This building’s architecture is amazing. Constructed in the 1800s; it’s amazing how beautiful and historic it is. Recommend highly.

Beautiful neoclassical opera house that reminded me very much of historic places in Italy. Worth stopping in if it's open.

The Festival is held the first 10 days of September. Events all over the City, but the most significant are in Centro area. An excellent hotel within walking distance is Hotel Morales.
