Great place for pictures! It’s absolutely beautiful. I love the waterfall and the tour guide. Just be careful and don’t drop your phone lol

This trip we decided to roam around Nassau and get to know a little more about the culture & history. The Queens staircase was a must see there are hours for tours which is the best way to learn. Leading up to the staircase is...More

If you have any free time and are in the downtown area this is SO WORTH IT!! It is beautiful and breathtaking and doesn’t take too much time out of your day at all! We went and walked up the stairs then back down, looked...More

It was a quite a marvel to witness. The stairs are steep which was good exercise, and the waterfalls were stunning. Downside is if you ask a local to take a picture they’re going to ask you for some money.

So pretty!! The guide seemed like he only knew the information he had memorized. The waterfall would speed up when we went by and slower when we went down staircase

The Queens Staircase is definitely something to see when you visit. The only issue we had was there are unofficial “guides” that stand next to the entrance and can be quite harassing. We ended up going 3 different times and they really don’t take no...More

It’s a stone staircase. The good news is that it’s free, unless a local guide gives you the history, they work off tips. It’s interesting, but don’t expect much. The waterfall was a pleasant surprise.

If you are in the area you can just walk the few blocks here and hike up the street afterward for Fort Fincastle. No need to pay an excursion company.

Lots of history to learn behind the man made Queens staircase. Helps you appreciate the work. You walk down 65 flight of stairs. A bit humid as you'll see the awesome waterfall. Great scenery for beautiful picture taking.

This isn’t the place to plan a day visit or anything to, but certainly a cool place to check off your list. It’s a steep staircase with a waterfall - probably one of the coolest (as in temperature) places you can go outside here. They...More

We came at it from the fort and started at the top. Honestly tho, can't remember is we needed to go up steps to get to the fort or not. Might be able to google earth and find out.

Yes, but it may not be pain-free to walk UP the stairs if you have bad knees or hips or a bad back.
