A favorite of windsurfers, the beach has fine white sand and beautiful views of St. John and offshore cays, and offers excellent snorkeling at the reef to the east, near Pettyklip Point.

This was our 3rd stay on Sapphire, just love it. It's so serene & quiet & it's not a huge beach. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful, private beach which is great to relax. Has a open-air restaurant with outdoor and covered seating right on the beach and of course a full bar. And of course it has beautiful water and sand, and a marina on the north-east corner of St....More

Stopped by the beach since we did a fishing trip from here. Quiet beach with nice sand and clear water and great snorkeling. Has a bar/restaurant and a small shop at the beach.

Beautiful beach - definitely bring your snorkeling gear. Water was warm and so clear. Not many people on this beach but watch the sun's intensity - definitely can get burned quickly. A must if you go to St. Thomas.

This is one of my favorite beaches! It's beautiful and offers good snorkeling. If you stay at the resort the beach loungers are free otherwise you pay $9 per day per chair. Lots of shady areas. Soft sand beach. Definitely a great snorkeling spot!

Any day is a good day at Sapphire Beach - the ST Thomas Restaurant Group renovated this venue to it's previous glorious vibe. After years of neglect and major hurricane damage it has risen from the ashes of destruction. Come with friends and enjoy your...More

Sapphire Beach seemed like a nice place for families and for those who want a lot of amenities, like a beach bar and cabanas. Those amenities also bring noise, and I didn’t feel particularly relaxed at Sapphire. I went on a choppier day, and it...More

Very nice beach that is well worth the visit. We came for a morning as we went to a different beach everyday. It's not the best that St Thomas offers, but it is beautiful

Sapphire Beach is clean and beautiful with many things to do... body surf, kayak, swim, snorkel, or just lie on the beach reading a book enjoying the sunshine and views of boats passing by. There are ducks and chickens running around, too!

2 questions... -is this beach kid (6 & 10) friendly? -we will be on cruise ship but can you use the resort amenities (if any)? Can you go back & forth from resort & beach?

Honestly I couldn’t tell you if there was WiFi. In a place that beautiful I couldn’t care less about the internet so I wasn’t even looking. Just picked up my phone long enough to snap a few pics. This is beach specific. Back... More
