I love snorkeling here because you get to see the turtles and sting rays :) On land is nice too, seems they are getting with the times but I am more privy to the places that slow you down, that's what I love about the...More
Food and service were great and the restaurant is upscale. I would make sure you reserve seating at least a day ahead of time--they can get busy. Also, to get a mooring ball you need to be there at least by noon.
We arrived around 2:45 pm and got the last mooring ball. Enjoyed the restaurant that evening and the coffee shop in the morning, but the swells from the north and wind from the east made for a very uncomfortable night. We don’t recommend this for...More
Stopped here for and overnight anchorage on our recent boat charter. Water was nice and calm and bottom was sand and eel grass, which made it a great place for spotting turtles. There is a small coffee shop ashore that has great coffee and delicious...More
The family stopped by Cooper island for lunch after visiting The Baths. This place is amazing. Great drinks, appetizers (we have the fresh fish ceviche), main dishes (mahi salad for me), and expresso. Enjoyed watching small waves roll in, children (a camp) learning how to...More
Only thing missing are the beautiful coconut trees on the waterfront, but they will be back. Great bar and Waite staff, reasonably priced drinks, very good menu. We were pleased to see them 100% back in full operation. Very friendly staff, quick service.
We stopped at Cooper Island for lunch, and then returned 4 days later for another lunch stop. The food was really good. We enjoyed their tasty hamburgers and fish & chips. The fish was melt in your mouth good! The restaurant is well decorated, and...More

If you are interested in diving, there is a Sail Caribbean Dive store located next to the Rum Bar that offers transfers to dive locations. Booking required.

Yes you could wander and explore the island, but it is pretty rugged. As for other beaches, I am not sure. I believe the only people who live there are those who work at the beach club. Some commute from Tortola via ferry. We had a delicious meal at the beach club. It might be a good idea to call the beach club and ask them some of these questions. We were attached to a mooring ball, had our own dinghy, and were not inclined to find out these things. The BVI is awesome! I hope you enjoy your time there.
