Amazing views of the mountains on a clear day. Good easy hiking (paved path) for little kids. Saw some wildlife too.

If you don't get here until after noon expect to be waiting for a good 30 minutes before you can even start the drive up to Hurricane Ridge. Beautiful views from up here and multiple short (though moderately strenuous hikes). Expect to spend anywhere from...More

Nice drive to the top. There were four spots along the road where deer were feeding right along the roadway. Clouds were covering some of the view of Washington, but we had a clear view of Victoria, Canada. Small visitor center and lookout platform at...More

We travelled up to Hurricane Ridge after spending an hour walking around Port Angeles on a misty, drizzly Sunday morning. We initially stopped off at the 'Olympic National Park' sign, then drove on the designated road which does stop at a pay booth ($30). They...More

We did the Overlook, Cirque Rim & Big Meadow Loop and Hurricane Ridge Trail, the latter being a bit of a work-out but oh so rewarding. Fabulous mountain views. Saw a lot of squirrels and chipmunks. Expect a little mist and wind at the top....More
