Stopped in Lake Bacalar for a morning dip. There are only a few places to access the lake as a member of the public but they can be found with a bit of persistence. The lake is crystal clear and very, very beautiful.

there a several piers where the tours boats go out of....so the cost to use the pier is included in the tour....not sure i understand the question? .....then there are beach clubs....extremely rustic!!!

All the tours are private there. You just arrive to the pier and take a boat.
