          Day trip ONLY!
Highs - Beautiful Island welcome - Great Food and helpful staff - Reasonable drinks. Wonderful authentic dances & singing. Comfortable bures tho very small doors and have to go to outside toilet at night..not always convenient as it rains often in the nights. Nice that they have small coffee tray and jug but sugar & powered creamer were always damp making ut difficult to use. Lows -  *Recommended Day Trip Only, not set up appropriately for over night stays. *Too close to mangroves to be called an island. Internet is charged but available in rooms which is handy. *Dirty muddy sea water and Too much wood slash from mangroves channels on the beach.. *Toilets 🚻 over loaded with day trippers using the shared bathrooms and walking into private ones as well as no proper locks. *Swimming pool completely empty and damaged. *Cat lying on eating tables and small puppy barking and snapping at people's legs and hands with sharp teeth, tearing clothing. * Uncomfortable boat to & from Island. *No fridge

          Perfect last day in Fiji
Staff was amazing. Small island where you feel you are all alone after a few minutes walk. I choose to do the coconut cooking class, it was so good. Great experience!!!

          Fabulous day tour
We had a fabulous day tour with Robinson Crusoe Island Tours. Our hotel pick up was on time and we were driven to the jetty to board the boat that goes down the river to the island in the sea. We enjoyed the snorkelling and the cultural show. Lunch was very good and the team who looked after us were amazing. Highly recommended.

          Not Good
I took this tour and would not recommend it. Two items advertised do not occur and several others are grossly exaggerated. No ancient pottery site and no weaving, carving and pottery demonstration. “Joining the crew on a mud crab catching adventure” consists of a crew member pulling two crab cages from the river on the way to the island. No explanation or information or adventure. The “jungle cruise” was the boat to the island which was no cruise. It is a narrow metal boat with metal benches crammed with the other passengers and little commentary. It’s no frills transport to the island, which is perfectly fine. But calling it a jungle cruise is indicative of what the owners of this company think of you. It took 75 minutes (each way) by bus to the boat. There was no information given the entire ride, like what the day would consist of or information about what we were driving by. That is then followed up with another 30 minutes in a boat to the village. Expect to spend most of day just travelling. The kava ceremony was nice and it seemed authentic. But it was a very long time to ask people to sit cross legged on concrete. Many of the older tourists were visibly uncomfortable but didn’t want to offend the villagers by standing up. Which brings me to another disappointing revelation: several participants in the ceremony aren’t actually villagers. They are employees dressed up like villagers who change outfits and then serve drinks or play other roles. And ride back with you into the city at the end of the day. The snorkelling occurs but it wasn’t good. It wasn’t actually guided. Then it was abruptly stopped after about 30 minutes. No one who participated was ready to get out. The final straw was the return trip. The boat takes you back to where the bus dropped you off. But expect to sit there for 45 minutes before your bus arrives. Bring bug repellent. You’re going to need it. Then enjoy your 75 minute bus ride in silence accompanied by the smell of a men’s locker room. Several of the employees were very nice and genuine people. But the management needs to rethink how they advertise this, include a tour guide given all the travel, contemplate the customer experience and improve the logistics.

          Fun Day at Private Island
Small group on private island. Sean played guitar and sang on ~30 minute boat trip to get there once there, several activities to share the Fiki island life, have fun, and entertain (fire dancers). You may also just relax on the beach or swim. It was very windy and had rough waves the day we were there. Lunch was very good and plentiful. Bar was available for drinks. Day was topped off with crab races. 🦀 😁

          A real desert island 🏝️
I travelled here in March 2003 and stayed for 3 days. It was just like staying in a desert island. Hot water from a bucket shower. Caught my first tuna with Brett on his fishing boat. Ate my first fresh coconut straight from the tree. Camp fires. Friendly staff welcome and departure waving us off the island. It was truly paradise.

          excellent
we did the day/night all day tour and it was excellent. Picked up from our resort in a large clean, comfortable bus, and taken to the jetty to het the boat. The amenities at the jetty are very poor though. The guided tour through Vusama village with kava ceremony was educational and informative in the ways of Fijian village life. Our boat driver and on board guide, (who was with us doing the whole day), were both fun and friendly. Likuri island was very pretty and all that one would expect on a Fijian island. There was plenty to do, and after being greeted to the island with song, the activities board at the bar was pointed out to all guests on the island with times of activities etc. The snorkeling where you are taken to an outer reef was incredibly average, though the snorkeling guide was great. A ten minute boat ride out to the reef, 30-40minutes in the water, and a return ten minute trip back. They do need a ladder at the back of the boat so people can get in and out of the water from the boat quickly, safely, and efficiently. Both lunch and dinner were provided, lunch was better for us though. and there is plenty of food and variety. Crab cooking, firewalking after the lovo dinner is prepared, and the dinnertime entertainment is excellent. Lots of dancing, and the firedancing was amazing! A musical farewell as we boarded th boat and returned in almost pitch black down the river to the jetty where buses were waiting to return people to their accom. Would definitely recommend, keeping in mind the all day tour is a late night for the kids.

          Good but unorganised
We called the night before as per instructions, to confirm pick up at Yadua Bay Resort for 8:55AM We were waiting from 8:45-9:10 15 mins after expected time of pick up Therefore we got our own taxi to the location, hence the phone call from a worker at Robinson Crusoes tours Taxi cost $100 FJD We spoke to the driver on the way back and he said he got to the service station in Cuvu at 9:18AM A) we were never told to meet at the service station B) this is almost half an hour after expected pick up time The actual trip, when we finally got there, was really good and a good cultural experience!!

          Some hits and misses
We did the day and night combo. The mud crab catching adventure, was not. Two pots were pulled from the water with one average sized crab in each pot. I must have been somewhere else, as I did not know when the crab cooking lesson was, or the the tree climbing, or the bush walk. Whoever was supposed to be announcing or coming around to the island visitors, was not doing a very good job. The food was wonderful. The staff were busy in the kiosk. Not enough of them. And the entertainment was great. Very late night if you have small children. Back on boats by 9. Onto the buses. We arrived back at our resort (Warwick) at midnight. Also tour booking agents need to advise disabled access to Vusama Village is difficult. Our tour guide helped as much as she could. And my husband had his own personal, warrior, to help him. Otherwise we would have had to stay at the boat and miss the wonderful, cultural tour.

We did the sunset dinner cruise. Where to start.Firstly, the term ‘cruise’ is very deceptive. We were squashed on to what can only be described as a large tinny. Don’t dress up for this occasion as water easily drenches the floor of the ‘boat’. The bar is an esky with a handful of drinks.
On arrival, we were greeted by song which was pleasant but it quickly went downhill again, when the welcome ceremony was clearly watered down with false information eg one of the dancers representing a local chief.
The fire walking was underwhelming as was the bonfire. The food was decent, and catered to vegetarians.
The main event which was the dancing and fire throwing was done to a pre recorded narration with modern music and dragged on.
The display seemed to aim to tick as many stereotypes of Polynesian culture as possible as opposed to being authentic. The dancers also dropped machetes and fire sticks almost hitting the crowd on occasion.
The resort is managed by an Australian woman who’s main agenda was getting as many likes on social media as possible. She walked to every guest several times requesting they go the Facebook page. However the only positive was being informed that some of the proceeds of the show go back to the local villages (which I hope is the case).
Save yourself the time and money and have a more authentic experience of beautiful Fijian culture and history.

Would not recommend, we got home past midnight, a very long evening, the dance was way too long and repetitive. The boat ride was ridiculous. We were shoulder to shoulder back to back and knee to knee. It was a very uncomfortable experience all up. And very pricey for what we got.

Time consuming bus trip from hotel to start of boat ride, including change from one bus to another but once on boat along river was great.
Food plentiful, host informative with good sense of humour and entertainment excellent.

The overall night was good fun. Food was actually amazing and there was so much!
The boat trip there was a little interesting… old tinny kind of fishing boat which I feel had way too many people on and could hear it struggling - although it was all part of the experience and we just had a laugh about it!
The staff and performers did a fabulous job. I would recommend for a night out

Really enjoyed this activity . We thought it was great value for money for what you received. Picked up from our resort , transported to the jetty, the boat down the river and into the open sea-all quite an experience in a good way. Staff were very friendly , show is polished and professional , with great jokes and humour weaved throughout. Love that they choose someone from the tour to be co-chief for the kava ceremony. Audience participation is not done in a cheesy or embarrassing way . Dancing and show is fantastic and probably the best of this type we have seen in the South Pacific and we have seen a few! Food was plentiful and filling , just don’t expect perfection and 5 star and you’ll be fine. Highly recommend this tour, island is beautiful and tour operator adds some lovely touches such as the beach bonfire and singing on the beach by the tour staff .

This was a great afternoon/evening... A nice little cruise up the river and then onto the Island...
Kava Ceremony where you all got to try it, some history and then fire walking and a traditional Lovo dinner. Yummy food and lots of it...
The show after dinner was spectacular, the fire dancing was amazing and had everyone clapping along. A great evening out...!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with this activity. Booked through TripAdvisor from Sydney, Australia and received instant confirmation. Printed all tickets required. Arrived in Nadi staying at the Westin on Wednesday night. Have been trying to call and email and also left a message on the group group website for the tour company Robinson multiple times from Thursday to Saturday no reponse. No confirmation of pick up time or where we have to board our cruise. Only got a departed time as 5pm. Got to the Denarau Marina at 4:15pm only to find no one at the office when asked the other tour groups, they tried multiple times to contact the tour company Robinson. Finally got through only to be told it’s not there problem and to contact TripAdvisor. But TripAdvisor clearly states that we need to contact the local tour company which I have tried multiple times to get no reply since Thursday to Saturday. We are too late to make to Natadola and missed the trip all together. A lot of money just thrown away just like that due to the tour company negligence and then blamed us for it. Very very disappointed. This was a special gift for my birthday so our little family of 3 could enjoy a very nice evening on my birthday which has now all been spoiled and has ruined my experience on Fiji. I would NOT recommend this tour at all. Just a day before I had booked another trip with south sea island and it was so well organised. I got an email confirmation from them well in advance stating the pick time, location and all the activity details including departure location. Robinson tour group was very disappointing. I want a full refund for this as it’s not my mistake. I have also contacted TripAdvisor but no response what’s so ever.

Pickup was late “fiji timing”, boarded the boat and started raining a little. Started to get cold and wet and got a little difficult with a 4 year old. Dinner was good, meat vegetables potatoes but wished there was one kid option at least. Performances/shows was great but a little lengthy, most kids got tired/bored as dances were some repetitive. Finale of the show was amazing though raining. Boat back to jetty was quite difficult, raining, cold and pitch black. Ended too late, by the time we got back to the hotel was almost midnight.

Bula elaineyap, Vinaka for your review and what a shame we got a little rain on your arrival and at the end but like everywhere we really needed a little rain. The buffet has a multitude of meats, vege, root crops and home baked bread and later fresh tropical fruits are served. A beef bun and gravy is usually a fave with kids. I would suggest the Cultural Day Cruise for children who are usually early to bed. Though the coach trip back to the hotel is a great time for a little nap. Its great that you thought the show finale was amazing, our show goes on rain, hail or shine. Tropical regards, Margarita and team.

We've spent a week in Fiji with beautiful but blowy weather. Booked the dinner cruise and while expensive, we had a lovely night. Bus from accommodation was comfortable, but as always lengthy. Boat to island very simple but enjoyable. River of mangrove pretty but not new to us. The view of the island with sunset was inst-worthy. Stunning. Drinks on the island enjoyable but extra cost. Not extravagant for Fiji prices. Lovo for dinner (ground oven) enjoyable and plenty to eat. Easily able to enjoy seconds or more. Bonfire, nice but less our thing. Fire walking was not what I was expecting and perhaps a little disappointing. Just very small and simple. They definitely did it, but without any great show about it. The dinner show was fabulous. Traditional dancing by both ladies and gentlemen. Many many types. 🔥 Fire. ⚔ Sword. Costume changes. An intermission and they continued on. Loved every moment. Some people may not be interested, but we enjoy culture and the experience of a location. So for us it was a great night. Apologies for the poor pics but I was focused on the entertainment.

Bula KCnLC, Vinaka for choosing to experience our Sunset Dinner Cruise and letting us know you had a lovely night. It really is a high light of anyone's trip to Fiji, the culture and tropical island at sunset shouldn't be missed if your staying on the mainland. The lovo is part of that culture and a plentiful buffet of chicken, beef, fish with root crops and traditional Fijian dishes to compliment. How good are the homemade buns! Legends of the Pacific Dinner Show and Cruise has been performed now for 21 years and just keeps getting better. Bar prices are kept to a minimum so a beverage can be enjoyed with the show. We do hope you got to inspect our beautiful new beachfront bures at Likuri Island Resort, house guests get to enjoy the show free of charge, there's a great incentive to come and stay with us. Tropical regards, Margarita and team.
