          Day trip ONLY!
Highs - Beautiful Island welcome - Great Food and helpful staff - Reasonable drinks. Wonderful authentic dances & singing. Comfortable bures tho very small doors and have to go to outside toilet at night..not always convenient as it rains often in the nights. Nice that they have small coffee tray and jug but sugar & powered creamer were always damp making ut difficult to use. Lows -  *Recommended Day Trip Only, not set up appropriately for over night stays. *Too close to mangroves to be called an island. Internet is charged but available in rooms which is handy. *Dirty muddy sea water and Too much wood slash from mangroves channels on the beach.. *Toilets 🚻 over loaded with day trippers using the shared bathrooms and walking into private ones as well as no proper locks. *Swimming pool completely empty and damaged. *Cat lying on eating tables and small puppy barking and snapping at people's legs and hands with sharp teeth, tearing clothing. * Uncomfortable boat to & from Island. *No fridge

          Perfect last day in Fiji
Staff was amazing. Small island where you feel you are all alone after a few minutes walk. I choose to do the coconut cooking class, it was so good. Great experience!!!

          Fabulous day tour
We had a fabulous day tour with Robinson Crusoe Island Tours. Our hotel pick up was on time and we were driven to the jetty to board the boat that goes down the river to the island in the sea. We enjoyed the snorkelling and the cultural show. Lunch was very good and the team who looked after us were amazing. Highly recommended.

          The Boat Ride from Hell
On February 14, my wife, my 2 sons, and I went on this tour. The tour involves a 35-40 minute boat ride to the island from their own jetty located on the Road to Natadola Beach. For the "boat ride", a pontoon was used. The pontoons have 4 rows of seating - 2 on the sides and 2 in the middle (back-to-back arrangment). The pontoon that took us to the island has "life jackets" stored on the ceiling of the boat. HOWEVER, after the dinner and the fire shows, the ride back was HELL-LIKE, because: 1/ The pontoon was full of people (I think maybe around 40 people including 3-4 small children, BUT THERE WAS NO LIFE JACKETS on the boat at all. 2/ The pontoon was not equiped with any kind of light for night time travelling except for a single "spot light". 3/ There were only 2 crewmembers, 1 is the captain and 1 is the deck hand. 4/ It was raining hard so all sides of the boat, except for the back side, was covered with plastic so the captain could not see ahead. To help the captain, the deck hand had to turn on his spot light to guide the captain. After establishing position and conveyed it to the captain, the deck hand then turned off his spot light. A boat carrying 40+ souls travelling in total darkness with occasional use of the lone navigation system - a spot light. I could never imagined a situation like this would exist in 2024, but I actually was in such situation. I fear for my life, my wife's life, my children's lives, and the lives of all passengers on the boat that night. 5/ Worse off, at one point during the journey back to the jetty, the deck hand turned on his spot light and shouted out to the captain. The captain immediately put the engine in reverse to stop the vessel from moving forward. The captain then changed direction and continued on. At that time I realized that the boat had almost hit something. Thanks God all guests at the event made it back to the jetty and back to their hotels. Anyway, I hope this will help future vacationers to decide whether or not this tour is for you and your family.

          Fun Day at Private Island
Small group on private island. Sean played guitar and sang on ~30 minute boat trip to get there once there, several activities to share the Fiki island life, have fun, and entertain (fire dancers). You may also just relax on the beach or swim. It was very windy and had rough waves the day we were there. Lunch was very good and plentiful. Bar was available for drinks. Day was topped off with crab races. 🦀 😁

          A real desert island 🏝️
I travelled here in March 2003 and stayed for 3 days. It was just like staying in a desert island. Hot water from a bucket shower. Caught my first tuna with Brett on his fishing boat. Ate my first fresh coconut straight from the tree. Camp fires. Friendly staff welcome and departure waving us off the island. It was truly paradise.

          A must do.
Great experience. Informative show, tasty dinner, Highlight was the fire knife show at the end with one part in the water, showering sparks. Boat ride back in the pouring rain wasn't fun but as a part of the experience loved it. The ride home over one and a half hours to our Nadi Resort was very unpleasant being wet with the A/C set to cold. Overall a wouldn't miss experience, the children had a blast.

A small piece of Fijian paradise
We had a fantastic day on Likuri Island Resort. We loved the boat ride to the island. Staff were welcoming and friendly. A full on fun day with a good variety of activities to keep you entertained. Staff are hands on at getting everyone involved in the fun.

          Worst experience.
Would not recommend, we got home past midnight, a very long evening, the dance was way too long and repetitive. The boat ride was ridiculous. We were shoulder to shoulder back to back and knee to knee. It was a very uncomfortable experience all up. And very pricey for what we got.

          excellent
we did the day/night all day tour and it was excellent. Picked up from our resort in a large clean, comfortable bus, and taken to the jetty to het the boat. The amenities at the jetty are very poor though. The guided tour through Vusama village with kava ceremony was educational and informative in the ways of Fijian village life. Our boat driver and on board guide, (who was with us doing the whole day), were both fun and friendly. Likuri island was very pretty and all that one would expect on a Fijian island. There was plenty to do, and after being greeted to the island with song, the activities board at the bar was pointed out to all guests on the island with times of activities etc. The snorkeling where you are taken to an outer reef was incredibly average, though the snorkeling guide was great. A ten minute boat ride out to the reef, 30-40minutes in the water, and a return ten minute trip back. They do need a ladder at the back of the boat so people can get in and out of the water from the boat quickly, safely, and efficiently. Both lunch and dinner were provided, lunch was better for us though. and there is plenty of food and variety. Crab cooking, firewalking after the lovo dinner is prepared, and the dinnertime entertainment is excellent. Lots of dancing, and the firedancing was amazing! A musical farewell as we boarded th boat and returned in almost pitch black down the river to the jetty where buses were waiting to return people to their accom. Would definitely recommend, keeping in mind the all day tour is a late night for the kids.

          Unique experience but poor communication
Food and show were wonderful! Unique experience! BUT, be aware, pickup was almost 2 hours earlier! Drink prices on boat should have been communicated, they’re not free. Poor communication all the way.

          Sunset cruise, dinner and entertainment
Time consuming bus trip from hotel to start of boat ride, including change from one bus to another but once on boat along river was great. Food plentiful, host informative with good sense of humour and entertainment excellent. Definitely worth while.

        Feb 2024 • Friends
I took this tour and would not recommend it. Two items advertised do not occur and several others are grossly exaggerated. No ancient pottery site and no weaving, carving and pottery demonstration. “Joining the crew on a mud crab catching adventure” consists of a crew member pulling two crab cages from the river on the way to the island. No explanation or information or adventure. The “jungle cruise” was the boat to the island which was no cruise. It is a narrow metal boat with metal benches crammed with the other passengers and little commentary. It’s no frills transport to the island, which is perfectly fine. But calling it a jungle cruise is indicative of what the owners of this company think of you.

It took 75 minutes (each way) by bus to the boat. There was no information given the entire ride, like what the day would consist of or information about what we were driving by. That is then followed up with another 30 minutes in a boat to the village. Expect to spend most of day just travelling.

The kava ceremony was nice and it seemed authentic. But it was a very long time to ask people to sit cross legged on concrete. Many of the older tourists were visibly uncomfortable but didn’t want to offend the villagers by standing up. Which brings me to another disappointing revelation: several participants in the ceremony aren’t actually villagers. They are employees dressed up like villagers who change outfits and then serve drinks or play other roles. And ride back with you into the city at the end of the day.

The snorkelling occurs but it wasn’t good. It wasn’t actually guided. Then it was abruptly stopped after about 30 minutes. No one who participated was ready to get out.

The final straw was the return trip. The boat takes you back to where the bus dropped you off. But expect to sit there for 45 minutes before your bus arrives. Bring bug repellent. You’re going to need it. Then enjoy your 75 minute bus ride in silence accompanied by the smell of a men’s locker room.

Several of the employees were very nice and genuine people. But the management needs to rethink how they advertise this, include a tour guide given all the travel, contemplate the customer experience and improve the logistics.
