Ferry to Inis Mor (main island) from Doolin
US$29.36
Overview
Inis Mor is the largest of Ireland’s Aran Islands, famous for its ancient ruins, traditional handicrafts, and soaring sea cliffs. This prepaid round-trip ferry ticket lets you explore the island at your own pace. Set sail from Doolin pier, enjoy spectacular views across the Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way as you cruise out to the island, then spend the day taking in highlights such as Kilronan, Dun Aengus, and the Worm Hole.
What to Expect
Day trips depart from Doolin for Inis Mor (the furthest of the Aran Islands) once a day departing at 10.00 and leaving the island at 16.00

From the moment you step aboard the gangway, you are treated to a feast of maritime activity, including dolphins following our wake! There is an air of anticipation as the ship sails ever closer to the island.

Inis Mor is the most visited island, with up to 2,000 visitors each day during the busy summer season. The island is a lively place at night, with great Irish music and dance shows. Kilronan is the main village on the island, where the ferry boats pull in. It has several dining, shopping and accommodation options to choose from. It also has the only ATM on the islands (genuine off-shore banking!) Other villages include Killeany, south of Kilronan and Kilmurvey – close to Dun Aengus.

An extremely interesting and exciting day . The walk around the island, taking in the historical structure and the incredible stone was just so interesting . The fairy ride over, however is more excitement than I feel that I needed . The crew assured us...More

Best Ferry!

I mistakenly booked a ferry in Galway. Donie phoned them on my behalf and secured me a full refund. Best customer service award goes to him!

Great ride and fantastic crew

We started out at 10 and had some difficulty getting parking situated. The guy that owns the parking lot doesn't own the ferries to be clear. Cost about 4 euro to park for the day, bring the change to do this. Then we got in...More
