We visited for the vineyard picnic experience. Little did I know my boyfriend had been in touch with the staff there to organise our engagement. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our engagement so special. They provided us with a secluded table overlooking the vineyard and shared a glass of bubbly with us at the end to celebrate. The perfect setting for the most special day. Thank you!!!

A beautiful family owned vineyard that is unique and quite worth exploring. A different way of making wine that is sustainble and environmentally friendly. My family truly enjoyed the experience. We upgraded to all Bunello wine tasting and we're glad we did so.

We have taken part in dozens of tastings and tours in Tuscany over the years. Corte Pavone ranks among the three best. Challenging to reach but worth the trip!

Beautiful vineyard, stunning views. Delicious wine but our guide did not seem to be very interested. We sat at the table for awhile waiting for instruction and felt kind of lost. We did not experience this lack of communication at other wineries/tastings. But the property is gorgeous, so worth the drive!

We had a difficult time finding this winery and actually missed the vineyard part of the tour but the winery provided us with a private tour of winery and processing. The tasting was great and we really appreciated the extra effort that made our visit worthwhile.

The views were awesome but the picnic was average. The wine that they provided was cheap. We expected more.

Had an amazing time at Corte Pavone in Montalcino! My wife and I went on a few different winery tours during our time in Tuscany, and this was by far our favorite. The staff at Corte Pavone are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the grounds of the vineyard are absolutely gorgeous. Of course, the wine is also excellent. We liked it so much, we shipped a case home to the states! I would highly recommend stopping by Corte Pavone if you find yourself in or around Montalcino.

Lovely location but not a good experience. The wine was average and we were mainly left on our own to taste. We had to wait between tasting the different wines. There are other better wineries to go to.

Should have done a tour for these money. Almost left alone, explained very little on the wines, amateurs vs Antinori and Castiglion del Bosco. Needs major improvement

We had a wonderful experience at this winery. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to accommodate the tasting experience to our personal preferences. They allowed us ample time to taste without rushing through the process and even offered suggestions based on our taste. The winery is modern and offers a fantastic view from the glass windowed tasting room. Overall a great experience.

We booked a tour in English. The host tried and was very kind. The place is beautiful. We have been traveling for 8 months and this is the first bad review we have left. We don't speak Italian, but with Spanish you can understand. The owner did not like Americans and the staff reciprocated this attitude in conversation. Maybe getting to know an American would be helpful, rather acting less than when speaking with other tourists.

The best part of this was the guides, who were very kind and knowledgeable. Everything else was mediocre. It was scheduled to be a two hour experience, so I had a ride scheduled at that time. But when my ride arrived, they were just getting around to serving the last two wines, so I barely got to try those. They did not have enough staff on hand for the tasting to run smoothly. The wine was fine, but not the quality I expected. Also, they will not ship to the U.S. It is also very difficult to get to this winery without a car. The description says this wine tasting is IN Montalcino, so I thought it would be like other tours where there’s a central meeting point, and then they drive you to the winery. Nope. And I didn’t know this until the day before, when they sent my voucher. Luckily I was able to pay a local €25 to give me a ride, because there are no cabs in Montalcino. If you are interested in touring a Brunello winery, I would suggest a different one.
