Best Terrain out of main South Island ski areas
Aug 2020 • Family
So if you like different terrain to ski on and not just blue groomers all day long then this is your spot. The Saddle Basin is the best easily accessed terrain in the South Island. The fact that you get one of the best views from the top of the main area is a great bonus too.

Best ski resort.
Great place to ski in NZ. It's a unique experience to ski a mountain without trees. It's fairly quite mid week.
