          Awesome experience
This newer experience is a wonderful addition to the Nadi tourism scene. The guide walks you through a recreated village explaining the culture. The fish and chicken is cooked in a traditional earth oven.. fantastic food!! Then the fire dancers delight.. loved it!!

A total different experience. "Trae Recuerdos"!
I was a returnee, I visited the village in 2017 around Christmas..and I took my husband and kids again last December. It was a totally different platform as from 2017. I mean back then the staff were very friendly..the ladies were huge and their singing were fantastic. And how they danced it was beautiful. Even the welcoming was spectacular. Last December as we visited the village..I don't know about the rest of the guests..but for my experience the welcoming songs were horrible and they cannot even say BULA as we arrived. The two young ladies at the counter..I meant one of them (the tall one) she cannot even smile..she is as stubborn as hell. Even when we ordered drinks like at the hotels the bartenders would say bula...thank you..enjoy your drinks. This one, she just gives us the drinks and just stood there like a statue. My God! I mean I cannot believe they've hired someone like that. They need to back to training. There was an old lady and a young one at tge counter before and awwww they were wonderful. I wish those kinds of people to be back at the village and it would be more enjoyable to visit again. In the village, some of the houses are not occupied like before..Even the kitchen, a lady used to cook there..I remembered we tasted smoked breadfruit there. Now it is vacant and it really stinks inside the big house. The souvenirs are not available anymore. I think everything at the village is fake. They are just in it for the money not for the culture. And the dancing, the traditional dances is way boring..I think they bring in new ones but do not have the experience. I can see there are only two boys from back then 2017 still there. Only thing I've enjoyed was the fire dancing and the food..awww it was delicious even the ones cooked underground. MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA!

          Beyond our expectations
This was a great experience! I had set expectations lower with the family for a cultural tour which sometimes while interesting, can be quite dry. This was complete opposite. Really engaging, high energy performances. Typically we’re the family that avoids getting involved at performances, but at this one we went with the vibe and had a great time. Good food, great information and engagement, Fab people. Five stars from us.

          Fabulous experience
Pick up on time, comfortable bus. Went through a Group tour. The Culture village itself was fabulous and excellent as described while booking. Warm and friendly staff, great local & traditional experience, sumptuous food and loved the Kava as well as Fire dance ceremony. Must visit.

          Bad experience!
It was not what we expected. I can say the welcoming singing was beautiful and the food was superb..even the fijian dancing and the fire dance was exxellent. The tour leader is a very informative guide but somewhat of a gold digger....he insisted on giving tips secretly. Why? When there's a bowl at the end to offer our appreciation. He said that that the Chinese would take all the tips in the bowl. And how come most of the demonstration houses occupants are his family...daughter, sister, son who supposedly should be schooling and even a grandson. The active demonstration houses I could notice were fire making, pottery and weaving. The rest were just sitting idly. Even the items we can say were bought and to sell. None were handmade. Very hilarious. A good place to visit but regarding tips I'd rather put in the bowl than giving secretly.

Amazing experience! Me and my family loved it :))
The performances were amazing!! Would’ve loved to have seen more dancing and maybe a shorter guided tour because there was a wee bit of standing around but still an incredible night. All of the entertainers and people were so lovely and friendly and one of the lads even watched my little boy so I could eat my dinner! Loved it and so did my son, he was dancing with them at the end!

          A touch of culture
If you want to learn about a bit of the history of Fiji and how they used to live then is is a good tour. Our guide was very informative on how life was like. The grounds are lovely and calming and the cultural show is interactive and fun. They teach you a Fijian dance for the ladies and a conga line style dance as well. You can choose to take part in the kava ceremony their traditional drink. We have done a cultural tour on previous trips to Fiji I think this one was the best.

          Wonderful evening
Wonderful experience and great evening at the village with the staff who were friendly and amazing The whole experience was engaging, staff was lovely, attentive and entertained us by singing songs during the evening. The highlight of the evening was the fire dancer performances and traditional dances. Be ready to dance when you get there because they will make you dance with them. Great value for money.

Great way to learn about Fijian village life!
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. So interesting to learn how Fijian’s used to live, meet the village Chief and see them make fire (they made it look so easy)! The show (dancing/fire dancing) was great and it was fun to join in at the end - we all laughed so much. Food was good (lovo cooked in the earth).

          Great day tour!
My partner and I visited the Fijian cultural tour and were treated like special guests. Bill gave us a lovely tour of the village and it was a pleasure learning about the Fijian culture including making fire, pottery, cloth and weaving. Max then organised a Kava ceremony and some cultural dancing. It was a very special day and a must for anyone visiting Fiji for the first time!

I am giving this a 5 for the experience as a whole. Culture, history, food, entertainment, and transport. But I’d give it a 6 if I could for their shear determination for preservation of the Fiji culture, and showing us visitors a good Fijian time.

Was a good experience however the showcase was not very thorough, actually. Occupants should be more native you know where traditional Fijian clothing... example for the warrior he was awesome wearing grass skirt. Even the rest they should wear proper Fijian attire... Like my family and I we wore same coloured pattern dresses and shirts because we thought going to the Fijian village... . people would wear the same as us. And it was not..hahahaha. Even catering teams just wore shorts and tops when placing plates and cutleries. I don't know if they are allowed to where anything they like but I doubt that. And can they wear gloves when organizing for the catering service..pleaaaasseee.
Other than that everything was great. We really loved what we have experienced at the village. The tour was worth it. Thank you!

We got picked up from our hotel and when we arrived they sang us a few songs, we were allocated to our tables & waited for another group to arrive before starting off our tour of the village, they go so in depth with the history and culture, we even got to see where our meal was cooked 'lovo' meaning cooked underground. We went back to our places, they also provided insect repellent for you. We ate the food and was very delicious then we had the kava ceremony followed by lots of dancing and singing and fire throwing...The audience even got to dance with the villagers...all in all a fun night and very educational. Would highly recommend this to all ages.

Thanks for your recommendation, You have Indepth the knowledge that reads the story of this Cultural Village. This is a traditional cultural Fijian sight where we take you back in years ago in the lives of the great Fijian ancestors who were cannibals in those days. This village set up is just a show case of the Fijian traditional ways of life that has been demonstrated to represent lives of the old Fiji. The staff and the entertainers has been so resilient to meet their audience attention. The stylish way of Fijian tradition dish served on the night was also delicious. Meal prepared was tropical traditional Fijian menu mostly served on occasion or celebrations. The food baked in earth oven is always well cooked and can be preserved without refrigerator. Thanks for rating this cultural village so high. Vinaka. . . . .

Its a typical traditional way of living similar that was practiced in the old Fiji. A Fijian way of life which help us to demonstrate how we used to live in the olden days before civilization..

Great experience! The staff were fantastic and very informative. It was a great experience watching the food be cooked the traditional way, very similar to NZ. Karva ceremony was a good experience however the whole tour drank from two kava bowls, I'd get if first if I knew we were all sipping out of the same bowl haha overall the entire experience was fascinating and it was great to learn about all the traditional weapons, learn about cannibalism and even see some brain forks. Highly recommend!!! And it was an excellent price for everything it included. I'm gluten free and you'll find most of the buffet was gluten free.

Fiji in the olden days is a simple life style where we live mainly on nature and things around us. It is just simple and cheap no money is needed. A life style that we live in community to help each other. You have been so fortunate to experience its ways of dancing style, witness its traditional performances and also taste its traditional food baked in an underground oven. A wonderful comment you have dropped in our review box . . . .Vinaka . .
