Enjoy a rollicking romp along Jamaica's Rio Bueno while docked at Falmouth port. Hop on a tube and follow your guide on a down-river adventure around twists and turns and across rambling rapids, admiring the lush jungle scenery and keeping an eye out for wildlife as you go. Break for a swim and channel your inner-Tarzan on a rope swing before floating your way to the Caribbean Sea, where a white-sand beach is waiting. This shore excursion includes round-trip transport.
What to Expect
When your cruise ship docks in the Falmouth port, embark on an exciting tubing adventure down the scenic Rio Bueno, a river in Jamaica. After pickup from the Falmouth port, you’ll receive a brief safety overview and training before taking a short walk over the Irie Bridge through the lush rainforest to the launching spot.

Then, jump in your tube and follow your guide downstream! Enjoy the twists and turns of the Rio Bueno as you float down the winding river. Stop for a break under bamboo trees and spend time relaxing by the riverbanks, swimming in the cool waters or trying out the nearby rope swing.

After lounging, get back in your tube and float over some more rushing rapids as you pass under an old stone bridge toward the Caribbean Sea. Once you reach the river delta, paddle over a few small waves with your guide to get to the white-sand shores of Bengal Bay. Here, lounge in the sun, swim, and admire the tropical Jamaican landscape.

After your exciting Rio Bueno shore excursion, enjoy a relaxing drive back to the Falmouth port.

Whooping and hollering fun

Our family of 8 had a great afternoon running our tubes down the river. No super challenging Rapids, just heavy enough to get pretty wet on chilly waters. We started out in a line and wound up solo . Our guide knew every nook and...More

Fun Trip

If you are considering rafting or tubing, definitely do the tubing trip. This river is rather tame, class I-III rapids, and is more fun actually in the water. Upon reaching the launch, make sure to take the side trip up to the waterfall, then enjoy...More

Jungle Tubing in Falmouth Jamaica

On our Royal Caribbean cruise, we stopped in Falmouth, Jamaica. Gentle rapids tubing. One of our co-tubers took a dare and did the rope swing. Our guide, Kemo, did a back flip off of a bridge to add to the entertainment! Fun morning in Jamaica,...More

This excursion started with a little surprise which made it all the more worth the money. Your tour guide has you set your tube down at the tubing starting point but then you continue to walk through the shallow water to discover small waterfalls and...More

I would not recommend the after beach excursion portion, the water was very rough, food was not very good and they were very overwhelmed with customers so we had to wait for food and we were starving. Plus we were stuck... More

I believe the minimum age is 7 or 8 years of age. My youngest was 7.5 when we went and she had to ride with my husband because she was too small. I don't know who strict they are if the child rides in a tube with an adult.
