          Memorable
Will was an amazing tour guide extremely knowledgeable. Was fantastic to understand the history of pearl harbour. If you read the signs properly it tells you everything you need to know. The only thing we didn’t get to see was the aviation museum, didn’t realise we were missing out on this until it was too late.

          A memorable tour with McFinny
The USS Arizona and Bowfin submarine tours did not disappoint. The sites were simply amazing and videos of the attack and history of the USS Arizona were captivating and heartbreaking all at the same time however, our tour guide, McFinny was fantastic and made the trip that much more memorable. He was extremely knowledgeable, interactive and fun to be on the tour with.

Tour guide John was truly inspiring as he added so much value to our historical understanding of the Pearl Harbor event. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the Pearl Harbor Memorial. So convenient that we were able to get picked up at our hotel.

          Pearl Harbor Private Tour
Nice to be picked up at the cruise terminal for private transportation to Pearl Harbor, with historical sites pointed out along the way. Was disappointed to learn the the van could not keep our bags during the tour and we needed to find alternative arrangements for the bags (since it was a private tour and $$). We were transported to Pearl Harbor, provided with pre-arranged tickets for the USS Arizona, orientation to the area, and time to meet back to get tickets and shuttle to the Missouri and Aviation Museum, then time to be back at the PearlHarbor Museum to be driven to our hotel. Punchbowl Cemetary was closed, so that was skipped. The convenience of it all was great, but not sure it was worth the money. My family are big history buffs, and would have liked to have more time at each location. So much to see!

          Fun and Full of Knowledge
We utilized Karma Tours for our trip to the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri. Our driver, Art (I hope I’m spelling this right), was so much fun for all the in-betweens of pick ups and drop offs. He made us laugh, educated us and made us laugh while educating us. Thanks for the fun bruddah!

Our driver provided so much historical information prior to arriving at Pearl Harbor and then more on the ride back to the hotel. Really enhanced the experience.

          History comes to life
Visiting Pearl Harbor. With the USS Arizona memorial and the USS Missouri on Memorial weekend was touching. Tour guide was knowledgeable about the islands history and quirks. Not a lot of young children on this tour, but there were several families with children who were seeing and learning the history at Pearl Harbor itself. Tour guide picked us up in front of the nearby ABC store. Make sure you identify which one because they are on almost every block. Tour driver was good at his job, but perhaps a little cheerful after visitors came from such a solemn visit.

          Very Interesting and heartfelt experience.
Our tour guide Art was excellent. He was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Hawaii and the USS Missouri and Pearl Harber. USS Missouri was very interesting and worth the time to tour. It was a great view into our WWII veterans' historic lives. Pearl Harber/USS Arizona, the war memorial and the surrounding museums we also informative. I enjoyed reading all the letters written by both USS veterans and the Japanese young men who died for their country. All 5 of our Family, including 3 teens enjoyed. Worth the visit.

We booked this tour with the understanding that is was a private tour for our group of 3, but ended up being with 4 other people, we didn't know. We didn't say anything to the tour guide about the other people, because we thought maybe we had read the details wrong or misunderstood them. A big bus could have been easier for a 70 year old woman to get in and out of, not in the back of 8 person van. I'm not sure how to guarantee you are getting a private tour, even when all the details say it is a private tour. And we travel quite frequently and know how to read the details about tours. My husband and I have done Pearl Harbor on previous tours, but were taking my mother-in-law during her first trip to Hawaii, so thought a more private, customizable tour would be nice. We could have saved money and just taken the trolley or other tour over there.

The tour was ok, but not super informative for a traveler who has never been there before. The tour went to Pearl Harbor, drove by the places it said it would, and stopped so we could take pictures. There are many tours that offer Pearl Harbor, so it's important to read the details to see if it is what you are looking for.

We booked a private tour for this itinerary because we wanted to be assured tickets to the USS Arizona, avoid stand by lines, and have a dedicated guide. This option was perfect for the first two of those goals. However, be aware that the private tour description is misleading.
One might reasonably expect that a private tour is led by a private guide dedicated to you and your private party during this time as suggested by the tour advertising. In our case, we had a guide handling two private tours at the same time, which means he was not available to each group exclusively. So, to accommodate for having 2 private groups concurrently we were picked up and transported to the tour location, handed our tickets and given tips and instruction, and then left for 4 hours which was not sufficient time to get through the itinerary promised on the 6 hour ticket. We would have taken a rideshare back to allow more time for us to have adequate time, but the guide did not leave his contact number so we hurried through the exhibits and stressed over getting back to the pick up point. When we met up with our guide and told him we wished we could have contacted him, he told us he does not give out his number and tour company does not pay for his cell phone use. Perhaps it was just this guide, but a lack of professionalism in his behavior towards us. I still graciously tipped the driver and he never got out of the vehicle nor said goodby or acknowledgedthe tip. As long as you are okay with transportation and guaranteed tickets and possibly less time than advertised and do not expect a dedicated personalized guide and how he will treat you for the private tour price, this option will meet your expectation.

The park itself was very nice and amazing. What ruined our experience was the tour. It's hard to get the tickets on the official website so we decided to purchase these tickets because the USS Arizona memorial boat tickets were included and guaranteed. They drove us there and we found out the boat tour was down for safety issues. We got there around noon. The tour guide said there was nothing they could do, although they could have called before to confirm that the boat was running since they open at 7am. We ended up ubering back because the tour guide said we couldn't leave before 3:30 even though our entire group was waiting to go as well. They did not have any other activities going on because the bowfin submarine was being dry-docked. I called the customer service and they will not help you. Extremely disappointed in this service and do not recommend, please choose another tour or try to purchase the $1 tickets on official website.

It’s a scam. They advertise that it’s a “private tour,” but it’s actually over 21 strangers/tourists in a bus. The tour guide knows close to nothing about the sites around the city where you are taken. The tour is NOT 4 hours. Instead, We spent 30 minutes picking up tourists and another 30 dropping them off. When you arrive at pearl harbor, they drop you off with a ticket and you have 1.5 to rush through everything. There are MUCH better tour groups that will actually provide what they are selling. Buyer Beware !

We had taken a tour to Pearl Harbor last September with another tour company. I was disappointed with the experience as they told us when we arrived at Pearl Harbor they had not been able to get us tickets to the Arizona but we were welcome to wait in the standby line for who knows how long.
This time, I wanted to be sure we got to the Arizona so I contacted Karma by text before I booked. They told me if they couldn't get tickets, the trip would not take place.
Due to airline problems, we had to cancel our first reservation. Karma worked with me to reschedule and even add another couple to our tour.
Our tour guide was great. We took an early morning tour. This was a small group tour, probably 12 people on a small bus. When we got to Pearl Harbor, we had tickets for 9:30 to the Arizona. Our tour guide told us if we got in the standby line, which had no one in it, we would be able to go on to the Arizona early. Sure enough, we were on one of the first boats over to the Arizona.
Basically, you're paying for transportation to Pearl Harbor and someone going online or making a phone call to get you a reserved spot for the boat ride to the Arizona. Entrance to Pearl Harbor is free ($7 parking fee). You can't take anything in except what you can carry in your pockets. No purses, fanny packs, camera cases, etc. They do have lockers for rent. I was able to carry in a water bottle.
It's truly an incredible experience. For a history or museum buff, this would probably not be enough time for you but we were able to go over to the Arizona and go through the two museums before it was time to return to the bus. Our driver took us on a mini tour of Honolulu, even stopping for a visit and pictures at the King statue.

Learn about WWII history at Pearl Harbor walk around the exhibits, see real photos and items recovered from that day. We took a boat ride to the USS Arizona memorial and pay my respects to those who lost their lives that day fighting for our freedom. After the boat returned from the USS Arizona we watched another movie about that day. The memorial is free to the public but I recommend making reservations, there are kiosks set up that have tablets where you can get in on stand-by. For a cost you can also get a audio tour device.

Not really worth the money. Considering what an important roll Pearl Harbor played in the history books there was not nearly enough to justify going there. You Get 15 minutes at the USS Arizona Memorial, a short film and a small museum to visit for what you pay. Unless you have a strong connection to Pearl Harbor I recommend skipping it

our driver, mc finny was great. prompt pick up and gave a lot of information on the way there. heads up: no purses or bags of any kind. there’s a good 20 minute movie, two small museums, a gift shop and option for guided tour with headphones. we also saw some people with VR things but didn’t ask about it. there’s a separate tour of the submarine for an extra charge of $22 per ticket. it’s on top of the water and you can walk thru on the sub part and on top. it was a beautiful day with no wind but very hot. no wind is best because the boat will not take you out to the memorial if it’s above a certain amount of knots. you only get like 10-15 mins at the memorial and there is not much. you walk through and see the ship underneath you. there is a gentleman there giving information and the wall with all the names is a really nice tribute. they sort of heard you in and out like cattle. you don’t get much time at the memorial but there is not a ton to see so staying there longer would not be more beneficial. all in all a great experience. it’s great when transportation is included and the bus had great AC which was a relief from that hot hawaiian sun. i think if i had to do it again, i would have done one of those guided tours. walking around the mini museums reading everything myself was kind of distracting especially because it’s so busy and people could block your view of the information placards for a while. if you could listen to the info and look at the exhibits and memorabilia, that might have been better.

This is NOT a guided tour, which I thought it was so my fault for booking it and not reading the info fully. All they do is pick you up and drop you off. 1 positive thing is they do book your times for the USS Arizona boat ride in advance so you don’t have to wait when you get there. The tour guide was kind of rude. We were the only two people at our designated pick up spot and the tour guide just sat in the car. He never came to see if we were the right people, we had to approach the car and ask if this was the tour for Pearl Harbor. Not sure if this is the norm in the US, but I’ve traveled to 7 different countries in Asia over the last 1.5 years and they also approach you and are way more attentive. He also made a snide comment “don’t spill your coffee” as if I wasn’t supposed to have it, yet didn’t make any comments to the next four people who got picked up and had coffee. If you have a rental car just drive to Pearl Harbor and pay 7$ for parking, get there before 9am so the timed boat tour to the memorial doesn’t book up and save your self a lot of money.
