- jpearldog0 contributionsSanta Fe overview on an EBike, what’s not to enjoy?!?Love the Ebike tour! I have taken friends and family multiple times. Ebike tour provides a great introduction to the Santa Fe area, a good overview of Santa Fe history and layout of the city. The guides are knowledgeable and accommodating. Bikes are easy and fun to use and allow you to enjoy the clean fresh Santa Fe outdoor. We have taken several Heritage tours. I especially like that the owner and founder is an independent, well-traveled and highly knowledgeable woman business owner! Strongly recommend this tour company and the Ebike tour!Written 30 December 2024
- ChiQuynh0 contributionsChill and informativeWe were in NM for a short time and booked a quick 2-hour walking tour of Old Town in Albuquerque before we flew out. Tam was our guide, and she was an ideal guide who was a local, has a high level of knowledge the history of the area and people, is passionate about the culture, and has a chill demeanor. Great use of time to get a concise appreciation for the area.Written 1 December 2024
- johnnyu0410 contributionsHiking at Bandelier National MonumentThis last August we got to experience a wonderful hiking tour of Bandelier National Monument with Tyler as our guide. We had an amazing time! He was incredibly patient, especially with our children ages 9,7 and 5 understanding that they moved at a slower pace and needed time to get up and down the ladders on site. We felt very safe. Tyler shared fascinating insights about the area's history and set up a wonderful lunch for us during the hike. His knowledge and thoughtful approach made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!Written 23 November 2024

Tam had an unparalleled knowledge of the Chaco Complex and the ancestral Puebloan architecture, art, and geoastronomical acumen. I booked the tour as a single person with 5 other adventurers, and I felt very safe throughout the day as we were driven to and from Hotel Chaco in ABQ. I even got a branded reusable water container as a souvenir. Highly recommended! A+Written 18 November 2024
- Scenic6873550 contributionsA visit beyond expectationsMy kids did not want me hiking solo so I went searching for a hiking guide and got, well, extremely lucky! The hiking with Angeliza was unlike any other guided tour I have booked anywhere. Her knowledge of flora, fauna, geology and the cultural history of Taos made for a deep experience that went well beyond the physical hiking. We talked about so many things, women in business, the state of the world, the ancient indigenous people whose footsteps we were walking…it lifted me right out od the day to day world and into a workday of other possibilities. Highly highly recommend!!Written 18 November 2024

What a wonderful experience to travel with our experienced guide Tam and our welcoming Acoma Pueblo host a turtle. We learned so much about current and ancient Puebloan cultures. This made the experiences very meaningful. Everyone was on time, food was delicious and the van was well equipped. Hope to return again.Written 17 November 2024

Fritz, our driver & guide took us along the high road & offered plenty of geological & cultural information. We used Heritage Inspirations/Angelisa for my sisters 70th birthday celebration in Santa Fe. From the minute we met Angelisa we were greeted with such love and she was so excited to share this adventure with us. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her culture and the history and culture of New Mexico. We went horseback riding at Ghost Ranch and then a day tour all about Georgia Okeefe and her life. We spent the day together and Angelisa was so full of interesting information that made the trip even more special. There were 10 of us and she took such good care of all of us with snacks and water and her van was so comfortable to be in for the day. I highly recommend Heritage Inspirations and we all send our thanks for an amazing day.Written 29 October 2024

The meals from breakfast to our incredible lamb chop dinner was fabulous. The glamping tents were incredibly comfortable. As an added treat the cultural astronomer on the trip, Danielle, taught me some many things I didnt know about the sky and stars. The guided hikes and tour of Chaco were great. Angelia’s and her entire team are incredible.Written 22 October 2024

Our guide, Sandra, was incredible. Her wealth of knowledge and way of delivering tidbits without being overwhelming was very well done! She provided a historical backdrop of Santa Fe’s origins which played into every building we saw. It truly gave us a deeper appreciation of what we were seeing. She also read our energy and gave us places to sit in the shade while she continued telling her story so we were able to cover ground without getting tired. A very pleasant person to spend a morning in Santa Fe with! Highly recommend!!

The Santa Fe Architectural Walking Tour was one of the highlights of my visit to SF this year. Sandy, our guide, did an exemplary job, from beginning to end. Her passion for and knowledge of the subject are impressive. She paced the walking and the narrative perfectly, ensuring everyone’s comfort and ability to absorb the tour’s many engaging and memorable details. Even though I have visited Santa Fe many times and know some of its historical and architectural background, most of what I learned on the tour was both new to me and fascinating. I strongly recommend the tour and Sandy.

Tsankawi and Los Alamos Tour - The tour we took with Daniel (not listed on this site) is both a great introduction to the history of this area, both ancient and modern, and the natural grandeur of New Mexico. Whenever we travel, here and abroad, we always seek out local people to help us learn about the area and Daniel ranks among the best we have experienced. He was very knowledgable, enthusiastic, easygoing and curious as we were about all we were experiencing. He was very flexible in tailoring the tour to both our time limitations and including a brief stop in Los Alamos, which I highly recommend. Daniel is the kind of friendly and interesting person you hope to meet when you travel and who you remember long after you have returned home.
Our group included, in addition to myself, my two adult "kids" who could not stop talking about the hike and what they learned, when we returned to our resort. I would encourage Heritage Inspirations to expand their offerings to include tours that opens visitors eyes to the areas Native American heritage and the modern history of Los Alamos. The perspectives that both provide are very much needed today.

Hello Pramad, after several attempts reaching out to you regarding the cancellation of this tour due to our NM Governor's travel restrictions order and upon one hour of your booking, we canceled, refunded and contacted you would have more understanding. We've responded to you numerous times that refunds take time and that due to our restrictions the most integral thing to do was cancel this tour. I hope during delicate times like these you would understand our responsibility as travel operators was to cancel this tour. We would love to host you in the future when travel isn't compromised by restrictions that are out of our control.

We have done quite a few historical tours i our travels, but I have to say the walking architectural tour with Ed was absolutely one of the very best. Full of both historical fact and local insight , the tour was packed with information and local lore. It is so obvious when a tour leader really cares about the area he/she covers. Ed had “ fire in his belly” from his affection for Santa Fe.
Santa Fe, a place like many others, has been deeply affected by various populations over time. Ed was very diligent in talking about the past in ways that did not avoid past misdeeds. Native architecture (of course) and culture was front and center. Of special interest: Don’t miss touring the State Capital Building. Follow up with visit to Palace of the Governors for a pictorial review of local history.
Thank you, Ed. Worth every penny!

Had an incredible road trip to Taos with Tyler, one of the Santa Fe Ambassador & Inspired Guide.
From the start of the trip to the end, Tyler made sure we get all the history, anecdotes and facts of every place we were stopping.
We started with a pleasant hike with other folks, he made sure we were all comfortable to one another and were COVID safe. (Which is a big deal in the new normal way living). After the hike he really curated the trip to our needs and interests. We visited historic churches, walked on the Rio Grande bridge, picked some sage on our way back to Santa Fe.
Thanks to Tyler I left Santa Fe feeling fortunate to have done this trip to New Mexico.
Thank Heritage Inspirations for working with human like Tyler who can provide a world class experience of New Mexico.
Highly recommend Heritage Inspirations to learn about the complexity and beauty of New Mexico

I would like to commend our wonderful tour guide for the beautiful, informative and exciting tour of Santa Fe. Sandy was extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter and shared many interesting anecdotes with us. This was a great history lesson, wrapped up in a very pleasurable walk around downtown Santa Fe, and topped off by a delicious flight of wines from Gruet Winery, a local treasure. Even after living in New Mexico for many years, I found this tour to be exceptional and loaded with new information. Loved it!

Sandy was a fabulous tour guide! We had never been to the city and we learned so much about Santa Fe history. We had a smaller group of 7 total and we enjoyed meeting the other vacationers and sharing stories about the things we had been doing while vacationing in the area as we enjoyed the wine flight at the end. This was a wonderful tour and we would highly recommend it.

Tour guide was a no-show, with no explanation. We booked for a Saturday tour. Then, company reached out 2 days before, saying Saturday needed to be canceled, so we agreed to go Friday instead. This required rearranging our entire Friday and Saturday, but we hoped it would be worth it. Friday came, we waited 30 minutes for the tour guide, but they never showed. So, we called the company multiple times asking if tour was still happening, and an operator said we'd be called back soon, but nobody called us back with any useful information. Finally received an apology message hourrrrrs later, but with no explanation as to why this happened. Also, upon agreeing to switch to Friday, I asked to be sent a reconfirmation, but that request was also ignored..... Company said in its apology, "This isnt how we operate," but clearly it is exactly how they operate. Very disappointed, since our time in Santa Fe was limited. Buyer beware, and have a backup plan, since company's communication and follow-through appear unreliable at best. Included is a pic I took of the company's locked and unmanned office where we wasted our 30 minutes.

What a wonderful way to be introduced to Santa Fe. I would recommend that it be done early in your visit because if gives you a great overview of Santa Fe. As mentioned in the description it is a 3 hour tour so I would recommend comfy shoes, a hat (even an umbrella for those sun sensitive and water. It is a flat walk ( Santa Fe is flat ;0). So it is a leisurely walk. Sandy was our guide and she was chocked full of great information. She encouraged conversation and made the tour very special. She was a delight to spend time with. The tour ends with a flight of wine at a local Santa Fe winery. My apology for not remembering the name because the wine was very nice. This little stop at the winery was pleasant because it reserved time for the guests to chat among themselves and Sandy. I found all on the tour very pleasant and we intend to remain in contact.

I would like to book a private tour for my husband and I. How much would that be per person? Irene Dickey

Oh I'm sorry I was thinking about an Art tour I took! The architectural tour was about $100 per person as I recall. There were 6 people. It included a wine tasting at Gruet winery in town( terrific if you drink wine or champagne). You would have to contact them about a private tour.

Hello Irene, we don't normally have a tour this day, We could offer a private tour on September 21st. A private tour fee is $199 at our same 930am to 1230pm tour. If you would like to arrange this please let me know.

FYI, my ancestors got off the boat in the1850's and farmed until they moved to Philadelphia where I was born. You want to contact Heritage Inspirations LLC for available tours.
