    What to Expect
On this 2-hour historic trolley tour you will see the sights and learn about Richmond’s landmarks, riverfront, architecture and history. We offer tours aboard our classic air conditioned trolley with cushioned seats, intricate seat frameworks, and social rather than traditional bus seating. Our comfortable trolley will take you to many of the most historic and popular landmarks in the city, with both a driver and guide who combine the rich history of Richmond with great stories, humor and wit. Some of the sites you will see and hear about are the State Capitol, Monument Avenue, St. John's Church, Libby Hill, the Valentine, the White House and the Museum of the Confederacy, the museum district, and many more! Sit back, relax and enjoy the best Richmond has to offer!

This needs to be your first thing to do in Richmond. Steve is a retired Richmond teacher and paints a picture of Richmond through the years. You go everywhere , it is a geography, history and gourmet food lesson , all in one. Should not...More

We really enjoyed the RVA Trolley tour. The route hit many of the high points of Colonial and Civil War era Richmond. Our tour guide was informative in a nicely conversational way. The free bottled water was a nice touch!

The Trolley Tour was a good introduction to Richmond's past and present. We saw historical landmarks, made a stop to take in the view of the city, and, of course, saw the beautiful James River. Our tour guide was nice, but fair as a guide.

Guide "M" was not great. Trolley got too warm, despite being billed as air conditioned. Tour was as much current day Richmond advertising as historic tour. We wanted 1700s and 1800s tour, which we got, but not so much the urban renewal and local festival...More

Emily was a very sweet and knowledgable tour guide. The tour was long and very informative! The trolley is small and a little tight but the tour was great and we enjoyed it.

We were there in the summer. The trolley is enclosed, and had air conditioning running in the summer. I would guess they have heat as well, but would definitely check with the trolley company to be sure!
